Swivel wheel bracket
A replica that restores manoeuvrability to the unit without having to replace it.
The challenge
The bracket for the front swivel wheel of a Deepoo 58 robot vacuum was cracked and no longer held the assembly. It is the wheel that turns through 360° and lets it change direction: without it, the robot cannot manoeuvre.
The constraints
It is the internal geometry that lets the wheel turn freely. Reproducing only the outer shape would not have worked: that seat had to be replicated as well, along with every fit with the chassis.
The solution
A faithful replica designed from scratch from the broken part, reproducing the internal geometry of the swivel and the fitting dimensions of the factory component.
