Headlight bracket compatible with BMW E36 Compact
Replica of the damaged bracket that restores the correct travel to the adjustment mechanism.
The challenge
The bracket holding the headlight adjustment mechanism was damaged. It is the part that houses the joint used to set the beam height: without it, the alignment does not hold.
The constraints
The part has to house the joint and withstand the repeated movement of the mechanism, so it needed precision in the fit and a material that would not give under use or under the heat of the headlight unit.
The solution
A replica of the original bracket printed in PETG, for its strength and dimensional stability, with the seat that lets the joint be inserted and guarantees the correct movement of the adjustment.
