Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data is collected through this website, what it is used for and what rights you have over it. It is drafted in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights.

What data is collected
Only what you write in the contact form: name, company (optional), email address, telephone (optional), the type of need you select and the message you write. No data is collected automatically and no profiling is carried out.
If instead of the form you write to us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, the data you provide by that route will be processed for the same purpose described here.
What it is used for
To deal with your enquiry, reply to you and, where appropriate, prepare and send you a quote. It is not used for any other purpose. No marketing communications are sent and you are not added to any mailing list.
Legal basis
The consent you give by ticking the corresponding box before submitting the form (article 6.1.a GDPR). You may withdraw it at any time by writing to info@karmarc.com, without this affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
If the enquiry leads to a commission, the legal basis becomes performance of the contract (article 6.1.b) and compliance with legal obligations regarding invoicing and record-keeping (article 6.1.c).
How long it is kept
If the enquiry does not lead to a commission, the data is kept for as long as is necessary to deal with it and, at most, one year from the last contact, after which it is deleted.
If it does lead to a commission, it is kept for the duration of the relationship and, afterwards, for the periods required by tax and commercial law for documenting transactions.
Who it is disclosed to
No one. Your data is not transferred or sold to third parties. It is stored on the server hosting this website, whose provider acts as a data processor with access limited to what is strictly necessary to provide the hosting service. No international data transfers are made.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies. It installs no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies, and it loads no external resources that could do so. That is why you will find no cookie notice when you arrive: there is nothing to consent to.
The only exception is the technical cookies WordPress installs when signing in to the administration area, which affect only the staff managing the site and are essential for it to work.
If any tool using cookies were to be added in future, this policy would be updated and your prior consent would be requested.
Your rights
You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, by writing to info@karmarc.com or to the postal address given above, stating which of them you wish to exercise. There is no charge for the response.
If you consider that your data has not been handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Security
The site is served entirely encrypted (HTTPS). Data from the form is saved in the site database and is also sent by email to the controller as a notification. It is accessible only from the administration area, after signing in, and is neither published nor consultable from the internet.
Reasonable technical measures are applied to prevent unauthorised access, and periodic backups are made and kept on the server itself, out of reach of the public website.
